Myth #63: Teachers don't deserve to be worshipped as Gods.

My blogmate has pushed a series of misguided posts about what he perceives as misconceptions regarding the schooling process. Because he is critical of our flawless schooling system, he is obviously wrong 110% of the time. As a fake teacher, I'm obviously the purfect person to disprove his points. I'm also 110% confident that my conclusive nonsense will be so flawless that nobody will make the mistake of believing his more rational arguments.

Teaching is a higher calling™. A higher power selected us as god-like figures to rule over your children. We are better than you. If that's too much, I can water it down for you. Teachers deserve to be among the world's most respected professions.

All others who are respected have to go through us. We award the credentials demanded by respectable individuals. By prohibiting those who learn outside of our precious schools from success, we can take full credit for those who we do not prohibit from success.

Much like history prior to schooling, humanity couldn't possibly survive without us god-like teachers. We deserve to be treated like the Gods we are. If you have a problem with that, your clearly wrong. We deserve insane levels of respect just because we have forced our involvement in absolutely everything. Worship us. If you fall short of treating us like Gods, we won't hesitate to publicly out you for failing to provide us with the respect we justifiably and humbly demand.
