The most powerful religion

There is no consensus on what qualifies as religion. A lot of people view it as worshipping a supernatural being. Others view it as guidance for our beliefs and morals. By some definitions, schooling could be viewed as the most powerful religion.


The schools have become highly influential in developing our beliefs and morals. They also inhibit the opportunity for us to develop contrary beliefs and opinions. In fact, schooling is incompatible with most other religions.

Teachers openly refer to themselves as a higher calling. This implies that a higher power is involved in their work. A lot of teachers even take this further. Simple respect is not enough. We must worship them as though they are gods.

Our schools have become our nation's established religion. That brings up serious concerns with the first amendment. We are prohibited from forming a state religion, but that is precisely what our schools have become. We must embrace a powerful religion that teaches us that thought and individuality are immoral, and that we must be subservient to government forces.
