The importance of physical education

I have already said this, but I'm going to say it again. Sports have value, but physical education is a failure.

Having a physically active life is healthy. This is something that we should want for everyone. In addition to physical health benefits, sports can also help with mental health. Physicality can actually provide a healthy way to release stress. Because of the health benefits, this qualifies as an important educational opportunity.

Much like the schools make learning undesirable, they make sports undesirable. When taken literally, physical education is very important. The class, however, is not.
