Stereotypical Student: Testing VIII

This intentionally corny series of posts makes fun of the schools by providing an obviously fictional diary of a student who fits many stereotypes.

Entry #36

Not too long ago, I wrote about the wonderful concept of reviewing for a test. Apparently, it's possible to engage in a self-imposed review even closer to a test. Most of my classmates refer to this concept as cramming.

Cramming might not have the same degree of support from our teachers, but it has a lot of the same benefits. In some ways, it might even be better. By studying as close to a test as possible, it increases the odds that we forget the material after the test rather than before. In the end, isn't that what our parents want from us? Don't they want us to forget everything immediately after we need it?
