Stereotypical Student: Being Raised IV

This intentionally corny series of posts makes fun of the schools by providing an obviously fictional diary of a student who fits many stereotypes.

Entry #27

I had a classmate who dared to say his favorite color is cyan. My teachers have made it clear that the world's greatest color is red. It's amazing that one of my classmates can be so stupid to have an opinion that deviates from what our teachers are feeding us.

My teachers who provided me with my viewpoint backed my views. They openly ridiculed my clueless classmate. That further justifies my own ridicule that extended beyond the classroom.

The most absurd part of all of this wasn't his opinion. It was the fact that he dared to think for himself. We all know that the job of students involves learning to turn to our teachers to think on our behalf. Once they tell us what to think, we must fight individuality on their behalf... I mean our own behalf. Learning to become the pawns of our non-exploitative teachers is an important part of our impressionable years.
