With the start of the new year, I will be making a few changes to my online presence. For a list of changes, visit my post on Random Rants and Ramblings. For my education blogging, let me break down the relevant changes.
The first change is that I am backtracking on a change from 2018. I was planning on separating posts that are about my personal beliefs and experiences from posts that could be applied more generally. Tumblr is not a good platform for these kinds of posts, so I am going to stick to this blog for any posts that I write myself.
Another big change is that I will be experimenting with Twitter. I plan on using the #ProudlyProEd hashtag that I have been using at Tumblr. I will still be making periodic posts to Tumblr, but most of these posts will be moving to Tumblr. The experimental nature of this new account means that I don't yet know all of the specifics of how I will be using Twitter.
One last change that I should bring up is that I will be taking periodic breaks from online posting. This will generally be two weeks at time, although longer is possible.
Education has taken on contradictory meanings. Some of us reject using the term to refer to our schools. It can be stated that our schools are at war with education. This blog was initially developed for the purpose of sharing some quick (rather than conclusive) pro-education/anti-schooling thoughts. This has been expanded to include a voice from the other side of the war. Admittedly, this voice was picked for its tendency to show the absurdities of the pro-schooling/anti-educational side.
