Every day in middle school was the same for me. I’m not just talking about the unbearable repetition. My routine was becoming too predictable. Every single day after school, I complained. It was always the same complaint. “School is getting in the way of my learning.”
I still had a lot to learn about the schools, but I honestly felt that I knew more about schooling and education than most people. Of course, that doesn’t take much. Most people spend their entire lives without learning the difference between schooling and education. I knew in middle school.
