Only Five Minutes

I had encountered multiple problems in fifth grade that absolutely screamed to me. I remember heading off to a program that our elementary school provided for more advanced students. When I returned to my normal class, I found out that we had work assigned that had to be completed in five minutes. For the rest of the class, it was a thirty-minute assignment. Initially, I felt overwhelmed. When I finished with time to spare, I wondered why my teacher gave everyone so much time. I really started to wonder about the inefficiencies of the schooling process.
